Can I bring outside food and drinks into Michigan Stadium?
Outside food and drinks are generally not allowed inside the venue. But there are concession stands and food vendors with a choice of snacks and refreshments inside the Stadium.
Are there age restrictions for events?
Age restrictions may vary depending on the nature of the event you’re attending. But for the most part, sporting events don’t have age restrictions, provided children are accompanied by an adult. It’s also important to note that children over two years old must have a valid ticket to be granted admission. Please check the specific event details or contact customer support for more information.
Is smoking allowed?
Michigan Stadium is a non-smoking venue. Smoking, including using e-cigarettes, is prohibited within the stadium premises. Designated smoking areas are available outside the venue.
Are cameras and recording devices allowed?
Single-frame flash photography is allowed, but lenses over six inches are prohibited. No video can be taken, and lighting or tripods are also prohibited.
What is the bag policy?
Bags, fanny packs, and purses are not permitted in the Stadium. Exceptions are only made for visitors with special child care or medical needs – for example, prescription medication or devices, diaper bags, etc. Items like these will be screened by security at the gate. If you’re going to Michigan Stadium, just take the essentials.
How do I get to the Stadium?

From Detroit Metro Airport or Points East: Take I-94 West to Ann Arbor-Saline Road exit (#175). Turn right. As you travel north, Ann Arbor-Saline Road will turn into Main Street. Michigan Stadium is located at the northeast corner of Main Street and Stadium Boulevard.
From Chicago or Points West: Take I-94 East to Ann Arbor-Saline Road exit (#175). Turn left and follow Ann Arbor-Saline as it turns into Main Street. Michigan Stadium is located at the northeast corner of Main Street and Stadium Boulevard.
From Toledo or Points South: Take US 23 north to I-94 West. Follow directions above from Detroit Metro Airport.
From Flint or Points North: Take U.S. 23 south to I-94 west. Follow directions from Detroit
